As a motorcycle customizer, what does a motorcycle mean to you both as a machine and as a canvas for your art?
A Motorcycle to me is a space for fulfillment of dreams. I enjoy each and every moment spent with my bike , be it touring or customizing it. Biking has become one of the most integral part of my life.
How has customizing motorcycles changed you and your life?
Customizing y bike has given me a more insight view of my motorcycle. I feel more connected to my motorcycle. Also , customizing my motorcycle has made me feel its the "best" motorcycle in the world as it has exactly what I want.
How do you relate to the possibility of your creation, a customized motorcycle, being a work of art for you, being ridden and possibly damaged in a mishap?
I modifications that i have done on my motorcycle are basically electrical / electronic modfications. They have very less chances to be damaged incase of a mishap.
Tell us briefly about your 2 most memorable custom motorcycle design created and executed by you.
I have Done a Full DC conversion to my bike. That was my first step in modifying my motorcycle.
2. I have fitted my bike with "DIGI Pro" , that acts as a heart and soul of my motorcycle. Its like the motorcycle is talking to you through the digital interface.
As a motorcycle customizer, how have you contributed to the society/brotherhood and plan to do so in the years to come?
I have thought of various possibilities to make long tours on motorcycles easy. Being a rider my self & a tourer , I always tried to analyse the problems we face during our long rides. What are the things one need to know during a ride. All the info we want to know that would keep our mind is a state of peace. All these things led to the invention of "DIGI Pro". I have now stared to make and sell the "DIGI Pro" so that bikers find it easy to know whats going inside their motorcycles during the long rides , hence can stay calm & in case of emergency , take precautions.
What are the best and the worst things about being a motorcycle customizer in India?
The best thing would be that India has a huge motorcycle market. So one has number of options to choose from.
The worst thing is that very few people in India take biking as a passion. For most people , a motorcycle is just a means of communication. So they very few are interested to customize or modify their motorcycles.
