How has motorcycling changed you and your life?

Motorcycling has transformed me to a Biker, Rider,& for some a wanderer in India today. Most people who come looking for me ask for "Vo Gadiwala Saheb Kha Raheta Hai" i feel nice & laugh when they ask for me in this fashion, i enjoy it. Riding across Indian & Bhutan villages, having Brk-Fast or lunch is an amazing feeling sharing our thoughts of India.
Over the years I have developed petroleum products in my Blood and the scare on any bike is no more.
I have been a part of Rider Mania's and NERM'S in the country since 2007 and I simply love it where ever it be.

How would you justify the inherent dangers and risk involved in riding on motorcycles?

Bad behaviour & non stable mind is un safe for a biker.if a Pillion rider leaves her duppata free, the end part of dupatta will get entangled in the rear wheel resulting in an accident.
Carrying excessive luggage, poor brakes, no horn, insufficient petrol/air pressure, moving, w/out head-lights, drunken riding, using mobile, non use of helmets, Triple seat riders, All the above factors will lead to risk & dangers in life.

Take me as an example for the No of accidents i have had so far FATAL---NONE.

Tell us briefly about your 2 most memorable life-incidents involving you as a motorcyclist?

(A) My colleague Mr.Sherry Singh from Hyderabad lost his m/cycle Sunbeam-S-7 some 20 years back and was disturbed. He requested me to check if it is lying in Pune.Took efforts to find it and it was with Mr.Christafer in Pune. I started negociating with Mr.Christafer & fiannaly he sold it me for Rs. 2,35,000/ only.Nosooner i completed the deal i rode the bike to my residency and parked it and informed Mr.Sherry in Hybad. The next day Sherry came over to collect it and was happy to go back to Hybad with his lost machine found.I love doing this for Sherry who gets back the Sunbeam-S-7 in pretty original condition. The tears of happiness was unbeleively to watch.
(B) In 2005-June making an attempt to ride my Cz-Jawa m/cycle to Khardungls-Pass and suddenly she refused to climb higher up. informed my colleagues not to wait for me and carry on ahead, will join-up if I am able to repair my bike. Was all alone on the tough terrain, the chill breeze singing in my ears, was a afraid of wild animals like the snow leopard, bear etc. i just did not know how come out from this problem, i started rolling to Leh & while rolling down wards the Jawa was behaving as normal as any as anything. Fairly guessed it is the oxygen problem, this is the 3rd sense which tells what to do, i tried to loosen the air screw of the Carb and engaged it in the 1st gear and she showed some moment upwards, i guessed it was right, and loosened the air screw a bit more and from hear i did not have to look back. Rode comfortable to K-Top and joined up my colleagues in Nubra Valley at 5.30pm.Over hear no body was expecting me, this was a thrilling experence on Cz-Jawa BMU-407 250cc-make-1952 .
