For you, what does it mean to be a motorcyclist?
Being a motorcyclist is a daily routine of my life. I hit the roads every week, if not a long run but a small one is always there in the plan. Riding makes me explore my neighboring.
How has motorcycling changed you and your life?
It has always been a energy source for me, When ever I feel lonely it makes me feel that the entire world is for me to explore.
How would you justify the inherent dangers and risk involved in riding on motorcycles?
It is always a risk to hit the roads with out proper gear and riding sense. If at all every person understands that the rules are for their safety and need to be followed for an enjoyable cruise. It is sad that we have a government who does not provide quality roads for riding but still our safety is to be decided by us. Always try to follow the rules and wear a helmet without fail.
Tell us briefly about your 2 most memorable life-incidents involving you as a motorcyclist?
There are many events to list down, but to be precise I would like to take the best moments.
1. The Hell of Slopes - This place actually tested my riding skills and made me realize that I was capable of doing more.
2. Independence Day Run - There were around 200+ bikers for spreading the news of safety. I was the pilot leading the huge group of skilled bikers. We cruised our way at a speed of 60kmph as our patrolling team cleared the way for the legends.
As a motorcyclist, how have you contributed to the society/brotherhood and plan to do so in the years to come?
I have been associated in spreading awareness about safe riding amongst young students. Planned a rally for safe riding and helmet awareness.
What are the best and the worst things about motorcycling in India?
The best would be that like minded people ride along and teach the others the skills of riding. They share a brotherhood feeling amongst all.
The worst part is the roads and riding sense among India people. They need to be educated before issuing a license.
