For you, what does it mean to be a motorcyclist?
According to me to be a motorcyclist means a person who really loves his motorcycle a lot ....who respects it.....a motorcyclist who has the feeling that insulting his bike will be equal to insulting himself.....i can say he is the real one....
How has motorcycling changed you and your life?
Before my bike came to my life, my life was boring....i dint know much about bikes...i got my first bike pulsar 135ls ...and i used to ride it so rough....we both were together for one and half year....i had 7 accidents.......the bike was badly broken...after few days i sold it because i wanted my dream bike pulsar 220f ...at last after a long day my dreams came true...i got pulsar 220f...the interesting fact was that ..the mistakes i made while riding my previous bike ..i learned from them...and it helped me after i started riding pulsar 220f...i started wearing helmets...started avoiding unwanted speed...and started safe riding....and the more i am riding the more i am learning and i know this process will never end....my pulsar 220f changed my life because it changed my way of riding...thus it changed me into a true biker..
How would you justify the inherent dangers and risk involved in long distance touring on motorcycles?
Many times it happened with me also...while i was going for a long ride....while reaching my destination i saw a bridge ...which i had to pass to reach my destination but it was very weak...t was impossible for me to ride trough that bridge.....but somehow i got down from my bike n pulled it slowly slowly over the bridge i faced many problems but i somehow manage to come out from that place....
Tell us briefly about your 2 most memorable motorcycle tours?
my lifes first ride was ..ride to pobitora wildlife sanctuary..which was 60 kms away from the place i started my ride,it was one of the best ride...of my life,as it was my first ride i was a little bit nervous, but slowly slowly after i saw the natural beauty...big big trees....i was so much excited...my mind got so much refreshed and it helped me ride more safely and cautiously it taught me how much speed should be maintained...and also taught me that riding slowly is really a joy by second ride was ride to chandubi lake ...it was fully a forest, the entire road was been shadowed by trees .i faced many problems...a broken bridge.,a bad road...but i successfully came out from those places..and reached my destination...that ride taught me how to ride in a extreme situation..each time i used to go for a ride i learned more about riding.
As a motorcycle tourer, how have you contributed to the society/brotherhood and plan to do so in the years to come?
As a motorcycle tourer i started a group named as "united bikers"..for spreading safe riding...and also providing some biker brothers some safety rules...and showing them the reason why wearing helmets are necessary ...i am also showing them how to ride in a city..in a village...and also hoping to make all bikers in our society be a safe and well mannered rider...who not only things about themselves but also things about people around them while riding in the road...
What are the best and the worst things about motorcycle touring in India?
The best thing about motorcycle touring in INDIA is that...it gives us immense joy...the roads specially the village roads are so wonderful..it gives us off road riding experience...the natural beauties...also makes us feel great...but the worst thing is that ...sometimes the roads are so bad...that it becomes impossible to ride throw them..and also some obstacles like blocked road...broken bridges creates a havoc in a riders life.
Golden Question : How do you feel when you ride?
In my lifetime till now i went to many rides ..each time i went for a ride..i learned more and more....i learned to know new roads...how to overcome the obstacles....all those things are just an awesome moments for me....when i ride i feel so lucky..that yes i am one of them who saw such beauties of nature...the sound of the engine in an empty road...those winds that touched me.....so refreshing...i feel so proud when i ride..wearing all safe guards..riding slowly, watching the beautiful scenes...exploring new places...the moments i am in bike is the best moments i spent..all this will be my sweetest memories .At last i want to say that one day i will make my bike feel proud that i am his owner....till then i will ride safe and spread safe riding...
