For you, what does it mean to be a motorcyclist?

Riding bikes is an unparalleled & distinctive skill that is appreciated those who love it. The eccentricity & freedom of riding on an open road is something that is lost when travelling on a car. A motorcyclist is one whose best friend, buddy or a soul mate is only his motorbike!Rider experiences many things on road and always has hunger to ride. You are intimately connected with your surroundings & vivid fragrances from the surroundings pass through you,the firm texture of the road is felt through your grip on the bars & you sense subtle temperature changes on the back of your neck. It gives you a feeling of being on the edge.Every revolution of the wheel gets me closer to the next place down the road. Each revolution of wheels has a mesmerizing story to live with & it’s really enchanting.

How has motorcycling changed you and your life?

A motorcycle isn't just a vehicle. It’s an experience every time you ride it. People remember when they fall in love for the first time, but I remember when I fell in love with motorcycles. You ride and risk your life for a chance to turn travelling into an adventure. A mistake and it becomes an experience for a life time. A motorcycle gave me a way to ride leaving all my tension and city trauma behind. It made me more patients, calm and made me learnt a lesson that “you have to end what you have started”. People say life is a big teacher, but I would say that get a motorcycle, start riding and you will learn your own lessons!

Life tested you severely and motorcycling helped you to fight back – tell us that story of courage and inspiration.

My comfort zone was an illusion, a mythical compound I had created in my life.I was suspended in time & going through a hard phase of life, when there was no hope of getting Visa for US.Expectations from near and dear ones was making it more worse. It blowed even worse when I fractured my right hand on ride.Riding back 300 kms with one hand & without barkes on bike with writhed in pain & troubled thoughts tested by ability. My fear of unknown and of myself was keeping me on lock down, & I all I had to do was keep telling myself that it could be worse.Motorcycling taught me lesson for may life : Never say you have failed until you have reached your last attempt, and never say it's your last attempt until you have succeeded.

As a motorcyclist, how have you contributed to the society/brotherhood and plan to do so in the years to come?

Hmm!The society is rigid always to adapt any new change quickly.Though,i am spreading words into mass to educate them about biking and safety.I always suggest people around me to buy good protective gears even if they daily commuters on bike.

Golden Question : How do you feel when you ride?

I always accelerate to keep away tension back into city life and to meditate looking for solution.I ride to feel the wind on our face, breath in the fresh air, to see the world from an unfettered view. The rush of riding through a tight set of twists, gives you the feeling of peace when you cruise down a stretch of highway, be it alone or with friends.soul is called by the road, spirits soar in the sunshine and my determination is challenged by the rain, hailstorm, wind and sometimes snow.Welcome all challenges with open arms. For those who truly have the passion to ride, nothing can quench their thirst, but only that soul satisfying experience that makes the world lit up with their smiles.

How would you justify the inherent dangers and risk involved in riding on motorcycles?
